it’s for everyday...romanticism isn’t just for books
it’s for everyday life

it’s those moments when you wish for something
that isn’t there anymore
when you look for a simplicity in life
that you thought you had
but never really existed in the first place

It’s so easy to forget
life doesn’t stand still when we walk away from something
all the people, and places that you leave behind
continue on without you
growing and changing

and sometimes you come back
and all the places where you used to feel so comfortable, and so at home
they’re different now,
and you’re different too

It’s so easy to look back
and appreciate what you had then
to wish for it again

why then, is it so hard
to look at yourself as you are
and appreciate what you have nowAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
